Beer, Wine and Liquor

There is a difference between wine, beer and liquor and the other smaller recognized alcoholic drinks, they distribute one thing in general. They are the fermentation yields of yeasts known as Saccharomyces cerevisiae or S. Carlsburgiensis Yeasts in case of beers. They are unicellular yeasts that imitate asexually by fission or budding. The result by which alcoholic drinks are created is usually known as fermentation.

Difference between Beer, Wine and Liquor

Drinks which are obtained from fermented fruit juice are known as wine. Wine is derived from fermented grape juice by using Vitis vinifera method. Other wines are specially recognized by the name of the fruit juices from which they are fermented including peach wine and elderberry wine.

On the other hand, Beer is generally obtained from fermentation of malt which is acquired from the absorption of developed barley grains which are grown in western civilizations but other grains are used in other civilizations. Liquor can refer to as spirits or alcoholic drinks like sake, wine, mead and beer. Liquid is derived from the Latin word ‘liquere’ which means fluid. The term liquid is first used for intoxicating drinks.

There is a different opinion about these three terms Beer, Wine and Liquor, that the people drinks wine or drinks beer. The person who drinks beer appears to be ‘manual’.

After playing a football game or a softball game, and had a get together with friends, then many can prefer to drink beer. When one goes for football games or professional baseball, then beer is the most common beverage which is generally purchased and not the wine.

On the Other hand, Wine is a drink which is consumed by various people at formal dinners, in expensive restaurants and social affairs. People who drink wine appear to be ‘professional’.

Liquor can be classified both as beer and wine as both appear the same shape of liquor. If one compares about the processes of winemaking and beer making, then one can arrive at a different conclusion.

The making of a beer is nearly a science and its process is very complex. On the other hand, winemaking is very simple to make. It is really a natural drink and its derivation possibly leaded beer making.

So, when the making of wine starts, it includes accumulation of fruits, graving them and then enabling them to ferment which is a very easy process as compared to making beer.
